Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ExecRoster, Inc. ("ExecRoster", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what's needed to run an advisory-board platform, we don't sell your data, and you can get a copy of — or delete — your data by emailing us.

What we collect

Account & profile data — name, email, password (hashed), and, for advisors, the professional information you choose to publish (title, bio, experience, skills, rates, photo).
Content — boardroom posts, comments, polls, messages, documents, and meeting details you create. Boardroom content is private to that board's members.
Questionnaire & lead data — answers you provide in our get-started questionnaires and the contact details you submit with them.
Billing data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers; we store subscription status and plan.
Usage data — pages viewed, funnel steps, device type, and similar analytics (first-party, plus Google Analytics if you consent to cookies).

How we use it

To run the service: matching, boardrooms, messaging, meetings, and public advisor profiles you publish.
To bill subscriptions and send required transactional email (receipts, trial-conversion reminders, security notices).
To send marketing email you can opt out of in one click — opting out is always honored.
To improve the product using aggregate analytics.

What's public

If you publish an advisor profile, the profile content you provide (name, photo, headline, bio, experience, skills, industries, and — only if you enable it — your advisory rate) is public and indexable by search engines. That's the point of the feature, and it's entirely under your control: unpublish anytime and the page returns a 410/404 and is removed from our sitemaps.

Sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run the service (hosting: Netlify; database/auth/storage: Supabase; payments: Stripe; email delivery: Resend; analytics: Google, if consented). We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with data brokers.

Retention & deletion

We keep data while your account is active. Email support@execroster.com to export or delete your data; we honor GDPR and CCPA/CPRA requests, including for non-members who entered our funnels.
