Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
These terms govern your use of ExecRoster, operated by ExecRoster, Inc. By creating an account you agree to them. We've written them to be readable; the billing section especially is deliberately plain.
1. The service
ExecRoster is a platform that connects executives ("Advisors") with companies for advisory relationships, and provides tools — profiles, matching, boardrooms, messaging, and meetings — to run those relationships. We are a platform, not a party to advisory relationships: advisors are not our employees or agents, we don't guarantee any business outcome, and advice exchanged on the platform is not professional advice from us.
2. Billing — the plain-English version
- Prices. Executive: $149/month after a 14-day free trial. Company: $199/month after a 30-day free trial. Annual plans are charged only when you explicitly select them.
- Trials. Trials require a card. We email you 3 days before your trial converts, with the date and amount. Cancel before conversion and you pay nothing.
- Cancellation. Self-serve, one click, in Settings → Billing, effective at the end of your current billing period. There is no advance-notice requirement. You keep access through the period you've paid for.
- Refunds. Billing mistakes are fixed, full stop. Beyond that, fees are non-refundable, but if something went wrong, write to support and a human will look at it.
3. Your content & profiles
You own what you post. You grant us the license needed to operate the service (host, display, and — for published advisor profiles — make public and indexable). Don't post content you don't have rights to. Boardroom content is confidential to that board's members; treat it accordingly, and we will too.
4. Acceptable use
No impersonation or false credentials; no scraping or bulk-extraction of profiles; no spam or unsolicited mass outreach through the platform; no unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. We may suspend accounts that put other members at risk, and we'll tell you why.
5. Advisory relationships
Compensation for advisory seats and engagements is between advisors and companies, as stated on each listing or agreed directly. You're responsible for your own contracts, taxes, confidentiality agreements, and compliance with your employer's policies.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the actions of other members.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes get 30 days' email notice. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
